In August world pig iron output grew by 4.08% YoY, to 106.654 thousand tons.
According to the World Steel Association, China is leading with 66.655 million tons, up by 6.46%.
Ukraine was able to preserve its 9th place with 1.72 million tons between US (2.16 million tons) and Taiwan (1.3 million tons).
