Uralelectromed is preparing the site for the construction of the third stage of the copper electrolysis shop.
At present the contractors are assembling a wall to separate the site from the main shop.
In September the foundation was prepared for the wall, and metal structures were assembled. Now they are covered with 250 panels.
To free 6.8 thousand square meters for the third stage of construction, contractors have to disassemble 4.5 thousand tons of ferroconcrete structures. The site should be ready by December.
The first stage of the shop was commissioned in February 2012, the second – in May this year. With the commissioning of the third stage the total capacity of the copper electrolysis shop will reach 400 thousand tons per year. (Ukrainian metal)
