According to the Russian Railways information, in September cargo transportation totaled 104.5 million tons, up by 0.7% YoY.
In January-September transportation grew by 2.7%, to 962.3 million tons.
In particular, iron and manganese ore accounted for 86.5 million tons, up by 5% YoY.
Ferrous metals transportation increased by 9.9%, to 58.8 million tons, and scrap – by 1.3%, to 11.6 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
