The pipe arc welding shop No. 3 of the Vyksa Iron and Steel Works will have a site to apply inner coating to pipes.

The commission of the site is scheduled for late 2018.

According to the company statement, the new site will have a Selmers line. The assembly has already been completed. In October the line will be tested.

Unlike the corrosion-resistant coating shop, which uses liquid inner coating, the new site will use powder coating.

The line will be used for pipes with the diameter of 114 to 530 mm.

The capacity could reach 60 thousand tons per year, depending on the structure of orders and size.

The line could also apply coating to pipes of the shops Nos. 1 and 5 of the oil and gas division, as well as the shop No. 4, which produces pipes with the diameter of 530 mm. (Ukrainian metal)
