Vyksa Iron and Steel Works has assembled over 50% of the metal structures of the projected 21 thousand tons for the building of the pipe-rolling shop, which will produce casing seamless pipes.

The builders have started assembling roof and walls.

The frame of the building is expected to have been completed by the end of February 2020.

All the foundation was laid in H1.

The manufacture will be commissioned in 2021. The shop will produce seamless casing, compressor-pump and oil and gas pipes with the diameter of 73 to 273 mm with semi-premium and premium joints.

The capacity of the shop will be 500 thousand tons per year.

Investments will amount to 50 billion rubles. Some 1 thousand jobs will be created. (Ukrainian metal)
