The Krasnobrodskiy coal pit of Kuzbassrazrezugol has commissioned the first WK-20 excavator in the Kemerovo region.
The machine has been produced by the Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Works, a part of AVIC.
“The company already has experience in operating such excavators. 5 WK-35 excavators with the ladle volume of 35 cubic meters (two each at the Bachatskiy and Taldinsky pits and one at Krasnobrodskiy pit) have proven their worth in operation. We hope the 20-cubic meter machine will stand up to their standards”, Kuzbassrazrezugol power-mechanical department director Igor Kirilov said.
The machine was assembled in 78 days. It will be tested for 1 year. (Ukrainian metal)
