In January-July Russia imported 1.31 million tons of Ukrainian rolled metal and pipes, up by 37.4% YoY.

According to the customs statistics, bars and sections account for 54%, in particular, construction rebars and wire rod for 51%, up by 71.8% and 4.3-fold respectively.

Deliveries of flat rolled metal grew by 2.5%, to 34%.

The share of steel semi-finished products went up 20-fold, to 7%.

The imports of steel pipes dropped almost 2-fold, to 3.4%.

One third of metal goes to Moscow region, 20% – to Rostov region and 12% – to Belgorod region. (Ukrainian metal)
