Severstal, Rosnano and Windar Renovables S.L. (Spain) have concluded an agreement on the creation of a joint enterprise Bashni VRS to produce steel towers for wind power turbines.
They will be produced in Rostov region.
Initial investments in the project will reach 750 million rubles.
The share of Severstal will be 24.5%.
The group will be able to supply steel plates for the manufacture of the towers on competitive terms. (Ukrainian metal)
