Karelsky Okatysh has started developing the fuel peat deposits Zarechnoye.
The opening of the deposits was held on September 10.
The peat will be used in the company boiler rooms to decrease the use of fuel oil.
The deposits comprise 9 sites on the area of 272 ha, with combined peat reserves of 718 thousand tons.
The design capacity of the enterprise will be 50 thousand tons per year.
It is planned to reach the design capacity in 2020. (Ukrainian metal)
