Kinross Gold intends to commission the project to develop Moroshka gold deposits in Chukotka Autonomous District by the end of the year.
At present the construction works are nearing their end at the site. Ore mining will start in Q4.
The deposits will be in development in 2019-2020.
After the mine is commissioned the annual output will reach 3400 kg of gold.
Moroshka reserves are estimated at 6.86 tons of gold and 60-70 tons of silver. (Ukrainian metal)
