NLMK has finished the repair of and commissioned the converter with the capacity of 160 tons.
The repair work has been finished 16 hours earlier, which allowed smelting additionally more than 700 tons of steel.
Investments in the project totaled 130 million rubles.
At present NLMK operates 3 converters with the volume of 160 tons and 3 converters of 320 tons each.
Last year they produced 13.2 million tons of steel.
In H1 output grew by 3% YoY, to 6.49 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
