In January-July Ukraine imported 25.791 thousand tons of ferrous scrap valued at $22.01 million, up by 71.6% and by 57.7% YoY respectively.
According to the State Fiscal Service, Turkey supplied 71.93% of scrap, Russia – 9.64% and Slovakia – 9.41%.
Ukraine also imported 1.12 thousand tons of hot-briquetted iron from Russia valued at $474 thousand, down from 1.47 thousand tons valued at $389 thousand in January-July 2017. (Ukrainian metal)
