In July Severstal-Metiz manufactured the record-high amount of high-carbon products – almost 15 thousand tons.
The large output was due to the lack of delays in machinery operation and the favorable order portfolio. Consumption is active both locally and abroad. The main consumers are agriculture and light industry.
“The previous record, set in May 2017, was exceeded by 1 thousand tons. This is all because of the investment program. Modernization of the machinery goes on, so we believe the current record will also be overcome”, the company CEO Sergey Kovryakov said. (Ukrainian metal)
