Severstal-Metiz is now able to produce a new type of railroad fasteners – plain washer.
This is an element of a modernized cleat-screw rail brace KB-65.
KB is the most widely used rail brace in Russia and the CIS. Its new modification could be used on all types of railroads.
“It took us just a couple of months to develop the new product. It has already passed trials with the participation of the customer – Russian Railroads. Now we are producing a trial batch of the washer”, the company CEO Sergey Kovryakov reported. (Ukrainian metal)
