In May, according to the customs statistics, Russia exported 8.3 thousand tons of corrosion-resistant steel scrap valued at $8 million, up by 81% and by 75% YoY respectively.
In January-May exports grew by 19.2% YoY, to 39.9 thousand tons, valued at $41.5 million, up by 23.5%.
