Kirov Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Works has finished the main stage of its capacity modernization.
The company is commissioning three machines with the combined cost of 1.4 billion rubles: a cold-rolling mill, modernized transfer tables of the hot-rolling mill and the Salico slitting and shearing line.
The Kvarto-450 cold-rolling mill modernization was the most expensive. The machine was created by ways of reconstruction of its predecessor – the Tandem-1000 mill, which required 997 million rubles.
As the result of modernization by 2020 KZOTsM intends to have increased output by 2.5 thousand tons per year and its share on the Russian flat rolled metal market by 7%, to 55%. (Ukrainian metal)
