Russia: Kirov Non-Ferrous Works output up in January-October 2017

In January-October Kirov Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Works increased rolled metal output by 5% YoY.

In particular, rolled copper manufacture went up by 13.5%, and copper-nickel rolled metal – by 45%.

Sheet manufacture demonstrated the largest growth among product types: 14.4% YoY, with copper sheet up by 24.4%. Belt output increased by 5%. (Ukrainian metal)

Russia: KZOTsM improves alloy quality control

According to the modernization and old machinery replacement plan the Kirov Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Works has purchased a new spectrophotometer for its central laboratory.

The equipment is used to determine the mass fraction of phosphorus and iron in various alloys, as well as nickel and zirconium. (Ukrainian metal)
