The smelting shop of Kirov Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Works has started modernizing the casting machine of the ILK-1.6 furnace No. 4.
The process will be finished until the end of the year.
Investments total 8.4 million rubles.
The smelting machine will receive a casting machine to produce bulk ingots with the rectangular shape of 300 x 1000 mm and cylindrical ingots with the diameter of 470, 540 and 650 mm directly in the furnace, without the use of casting mixer. (Ukrainian metal)
