The copper-smelting shop of Uralelectromed has started assembling works at the anode furnace No. 2 casting complex.
Commissioning is scheduled for the second half of July.
Similar work has been carried out at the anode furnace No. 3 casting complex and has already allowed decreasing repair and maintenance costs.
Previously UEM has modernized casting complexes of two anode furnaces and one complex has been constructed from scratch.
At present the copper-smelting shop operates 5 anode furnaces, which process all the raw copper mined by UGMK companies. (Ukrainian metal)
