Kosaya Gora Iron and Steel Works has approved and is carrying out a 3-year development program for 2018-2021.

The program encompasses three main directions:

– mastering of new techniques. The direction presupposes not only the repair of the old capacities and their replacement, but the creation of new ones as well. In particular, the company intends to create additional ferromanganese capacities. By December KMZ will have hired 50 new employees;

– wage increase. Since March the company has been carrying out a program to increase salary. So far the increase of 8% to 23% has touched 353 employees. In July-August wages will be increased by 13% on average for 167 employees more;

– environment protection. KMZ is gradually investing in decreasing environment impact. In particular, foggers will be assembled to decrease air pollution. (Ukrainian metal)
