The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has approved the merge of the Satka Pig Iron Works and Kosaya Gora Iron and Steel Works.
According to the FAS, the merge will not result in domination on the manganese ferroalloys market.
SChPZ manufactures FMn78 and FMn75 manganese ferroalloys, while KMZ produces only FMn78 ferroalloys.
After the merge their combined share will not exceed 35%. (Ukrainian metal)
