Satka Pig Iron Works intends to buy 100% of voting shares of the Kosaya Gora Iron and Steel Works.
The companies produce pig iron and ferromanganese.
They are the two largest ferromanganese suppliers on the Russian market.
KMZ estimated the market at 154.8 thousand tons and called SChPZ its main competitor.
The SChPZ share was 46%, KMZ – 39%, Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Works – 9%, Privat Group and other imports – 3% each. (Ukrainian metal)
