The Pipeline Joint Taps Works, a part of ChTPZ, has mastered the manufacture of a new type of product for the nuclear energy.
For the first time the works has produced hot-bent taps with the diameter of 219 mm and the wall thickness of 11 mm of stainless steel.
The first batch of 18 taps, to be used in the construction of the Belarus Nuclear Power Plant, has already been delivered to the customer. (Ukrainian metal)
