The limitation of sulfuric acid imports will affect the whole economy, as the shortage of this raw material could halt the metal industry.
“If, because of the lack of sulfuric acid, by-product coke plants shut down, the whole metal industry will halt as well”, Azovstal CEO Enver Tskitishvili said.
According to him VostGOK and Sumykhimprom initiated investigation, which could impose quotas on sulfuric acid imports. (Ukrainian metal)
