Kyshtym Electrolytic Copper Plant has started assembling metal structures, which will later serve as the basis for the new Luhr Filter filtering machinery to purify gases of the Maerz furnace.
The new machine will trap both solid and gaseous impurities. The gas-purification rate will reach 99.9%.
The commissioning of the filter is scheduled for this year. The cost of the project is 200 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
