In April, according to the customs statistics, Russia imported 152.8 thousand tons of pig iron from Ukraine.
In March the deliveries totaled 136.8 thousand tons.
Ukraine started supplying pig iron to Russia in November 2017 and in 6 months exported 590 thousand tons.
Rostov region accounted for some 60% of purchases, followed by Moscow region (22%) and Stavropolye region (18%).
Leningrad region bought 3.4 thousand tons of pig iron.
