In April, according to the customs statistics, Russia imported 50.2 thousand tons of flat galvanized rolled metal, up by 14.6% MoM, but down by 15.5% YoY.
In January-April imports fell by 19.4% YoY, to 172.8 thousand tons.
Kazakhstan was the main supplier (58 thousand tons, down by 16%), followed by South Korea (26.5 thousand tons, up by 16.5%) and Ukraine (20.1 thousand tons, down by 55%).
The main buyers of the metal are in Moscow region (53 thousand tons), Sverdlovsk region (36.5 thousand tons) and Leningrad region (36.7 thousand tons). (Ukrainian metal)
