Ukrainian metal companies are forced to decrease output because of the failure of the Ukrainian Railroads to provide enough cargo trains.

The critical situation is witnessed at the Kamysh-Zarya – Volnovakha route, leading to the city of Mariupol.

Because of the delay in cargo train provision Mariupol metal works produce twice as little metal, than the capacities allow.

“Mariupol metal companies have decreased output, as there is no raw materials. In April-June 1 million tons of iron ore was not delivered to Europe. We ask the government to help Ukrzaliznytsia, so there are no problems with Ukrainian economy”, the member of the parliamentary commission on transport issue Vladimir Gusak said. (Ukrainian metal)
