The State Duma will provide 950 million rubles from the federal budget for the construction of the mine No. 6 of Priargunskoye Mining and Chemical Enterprise in Zabaikalye region.
The enterprise will receive the money for the uranium mine construction within the program on the investment projects in Baikal region.
By the end of 2021 the project could receive 1.9 billion rubles more from the federal budget.
The mine No. 6 will be developing the uranium deposits of Argunskoye and Zherlovoye.
It is planned to carry out the project in three stages. The mine is expected to reach the project capacity of 850 thousand tons of ore per year in 2026.
The total cost of the project is 26 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
