In June metal shop of Almalyk Mining and Processing Works carried out repairs of the reverberatory furnace and the current repairs of converters No. 3 and 4, as scheduled.
The furnace was shut down on June 1. According to the schedule the repair had to last for 15 days, but was completed 1 day earlier.
The converter No. 4 was repaired on June 8-13, and converter No. 3 – on June 15-21. (Ukrainian metal)
