In May Kazakhstan produced 0.407 million tons of steel, up by 5.9% YoY and by 12.7% MoM.
In January-May steel manufacture grew by 3.9%, to 1.935 million tons.
Ferroalloys output totaled 0.181 million tons, up by 4.1% YoY and by 7.6% MoM, with 0.842 million tons produced in 5 months, up by 2.7%.
Copper manufacture dropped by 2.9% YoY in January-May, to 0.169 million tons, while that of zinc – by 1.9%, to 0.138 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
