In January-May by-product coke plants of Ukraine imported 4.75 million tons of coking coal and coal concentrate, up by 17% YoY.
In May 0.9 million tons of coking coal were imported, down by 11% MoM.
Ukrainian coal deliveries in 5 months totaled 1.24 million tons, down by 6% YoY, with 220 thousand tons delivered in May, down by 7% MoM.
In January-May Ukrainian by-product coke plants received 5.99 million tons of coking coal, up by 11% YoY. The share of imported coal was 79.3% as opposed to 75.5% last year.
In May plants received 1.12 million tons of coal.
Plants delivered 754 thousand tons of coke to Ukrainian metal companies, down by 3% MoM, with no coke imported.
In 5 months coke deliveries grew by 14% YoY, to 4.08 million tons, with domestic coke at 3.82 million tons, up by 18%, and imported – 0.26 million tons, up by 73%. (Ukrainian metal)
