The people’s deputy Sergey Dunayev has failed keeping his promise of clearing salary debts to the state enterprise Lisichanskugol employees.
“Because of red tape in filing documents to the Ministry of Finances and the State Treasury, the Ministry of energy and coal industry cannot promptly solve the problem of salary debts. The miners demand immediate clearing of the debts. We have agreed to take all the necessary steps together to have the salary debts cleared as fast as possible”, he said a year ago.
In July 2017 Lisichanskugol miners refused to return from the underground until their salary debts were cleared. At that time the debts amounted to 135 million UAH.
As of May 23, the debts are still considerable. The enterprise is in the Debtors registry.
According to the State Treasury Service, it has not received any letters from Dunayev on this issue. (Ukrainian metal)
