In January-May Magadan region obtained 8.363 tons of gold and 297.8 tons of silver, up by 794.2 kg and by 1.3 tons YoY respectively.
The Tenkinsky city district was the leader in ore gold mining having provided 4.5 tons of gold.
Alluvial gold output totaled 1106.3 kg, with Susuman city district providing the most – 484.6 kg.
Omsuchkansky district yielded the most silver – 242 tons.
This year the region intends to mine 37 tons of gold, including 21 tons of ore gold. (Ukrainian metal)
