The prices of enterprises manufacturing industrial products, as well as providing production services, in Kazakhstan increased by 2.6% MoM in May and by 5% compared to December 2017, the Committee on Statistics of the Kazakh National Economy Ministry reported.

Since the beginning of the year, producer prices in the manufacturing industry have increased by 3.5% and in mining – by 6.3%.

The prices for industrial products went up by 4.9% and production services – by 6.4%.

During the reporting period prices for coal went up by 2.2%, and metal ores – by 1.2%.

The increase in prices was recorded for ferroalloys – by 15.9%, ferrous metals – by 7.6%, aluminum – by 4.3%, lead – by 4.1%, copper – by 1%, zinc – by 0.7%. (AzerNews/Ukrainian metal)
