Zaporizhstal has presented its environment-protection measures at the 2nd International Environment Forum.
The environment protection department director Inna Kholina described measures taken by the works to decrease water consumption and water discharge.
“The large-scale program on decreasing environment pressure on the region allowed us in 2017 to reduce water intake by 10% and decrease used water discharge by 1.6 million cubic meters. We re carrying out a number of other projects at the moment, which will allow us to decrease our impact on water basins even further”, she said. (Ukrainian metal)
