In April Ukraine increased coal consumption by 25.2% YoY, to 3.533 million tons, but decreased by 12.6% MoM.
According to the State Statistics Service, in March coal consumption grew by 41.3% YoY, to 4 million tons.
In April Ukraine imported $243.788 million worth of coal, up by 21.1% YoY, while exports dropped by 99.7%, to $19 thousand.
In March coal imports totaled $243.811 million, with exports at $2 thousand.
In 2017 Ukraine imported $2.744 billion worth of coal, and exported $105.5 million. (Ukrainian metal)
