The Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) is taking part in the 3rd International Specialized Exhibition Steel Structures 2018, which kicked off in Moscow on May 30.
MMK is presenting its high-tensile wear-resistant steel produced under the MAGSTRONG brand. MAGSTRONG steel is selected for use in producing steel structures due to its high resistance to abrasive wear, its impact strength, good welding and processing properties, and because products made from this steel have a longer service life compared to those made with traditional materials. This should offer a significant increase in operating time between overhauls, decrease equipment downtime and metal consumption, and should also deliver considerable savings. This steel is used in producing and maintaining construction, quarry and other specialized machinery, equipment used in rock formations processing, shaft sinking, loaded steel structures, and in other areas.
