DCH, which bought Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works from Evraz in March, intends to construct a new shop of continuous casting with a high-speed 5-slit rolling machine, two external treatment machines, a ladle-furnace and other machinery.
The capacity of the continuous casting machine will be 155 tons per hour.
The new shop will provide for the manufacture of continuous casting billets in the amount of 1.088 million tons per year. (Ukrainian metal)
