The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has provided over 131 million UAH to prevent the environment catastrophe and shutting down of mines in Donbass.
According to the chairman of the Ministry on temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons Vadim Chernysh, this decision will help regulate not only the problem of the catastrophe and allow the coal industry to continue operating, but will also solve a number of social, economic and political issues.
For almost two years Russia has been deliberately blocking the pumping of water out of mines situated on Ukraine-uncontrolled territories of Lugansk region.
German experts several times tried to examine the flooded mines, but their efforts were blocked by the authorities of the so-called Lugansk People’s Republic, a terrorist organization, created and supported by Russia. (Ukrainian metal)
