In January-March Buryatia obtained 0.86 tons of gold, up by 21.5% YoY,
Zapadnaya artel LLC (Zapadnaya Mining) operated at the Kedrovoe deposits, and Buryatzoloto (a part of Nordgold) at the Irokinda and Kholbinsky mines.
This year Buryatzoloto intends to invest 607 million rubles in drilling at its mines. Balance reserves of the deposits are estimated at 18.7 tons, and could increase by 4.2 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
