In January-March TMK sold 980 thousand tons of pipes, up by 1% QoQ and by 16% YoY.
Seamless pipes sales remained almost on the level of the previous quarter, but grew by 3% YoY, to 677 thousand tons.
Welded pipes sales increased by 4% QoQ and by 64% YoY, to 303 thousand tons.
OCTG pipes sales grew by 2% QoQ and by 7% YoY, to 459 thousand tons.
“In Q1 the sales volumes continued growing almost in all the product segments. We have also expanded the range of our premium wares. We expect the demand for TMK pipes in 2018 to be quite high, as the current oil prices will keep the drilling operations in Russia stable and increase them in North America”, TMK CEO Alexander Shevelev noted.
