The repair of the ore-smelting furnace No. 3 started in the smelting shop at Kola Iron and Steel Works.
According to the schedule, the repair will last for 20 days.
One of the main events is the replacement of over 800 square meters of roof above the furnace. Unlike the old structure, the new one is corrosion-resistant. It will be in operation for 40 years.
The smelting shop has 3 ore-smelting furnaces. (Ukrainian metal)
