In February Russia exported 380.4 thousand tons of ferrous scrap, up by 11% MoM and by 89% YoY.

In January the results were down by 45.6%, but up by 38.7% respectively.

According to the customs statistics, in January-February Russia exported 723.3 thousand tons of scrap, up by 61.2% YoY, and the highest result in the past 10 years.

Turkey imported 45% of scrap, up by 177% YoY. In February the average price was $260.3 per ton.

Belarus imported 25% of scrap, up by 4.3%, at $306/7 per ton, while South Korea – 14.5%, up by 7.4%, at $207.3 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
