In March Ukrainian coal production reached 2.996 million tons of coal, which is 107% of the planned targets, the Trade Union of Coal Mining Industry of Ukraine informed with a reference to the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry.
In particular, the production of coalmines managed by the Energy Ministry made up 389,419 tons, which amounted to 97.7% of the planned targets.
The production of coal mining enterprises of all forms of ownership has totaled 8,331,077 tons of coal since the beginning of the year, which is by 560,177 tons of coal more than targeted.
The production of coalmines managed by the Energy Ministry has made up 1,186,361 tons of coal since the beginning of the year, which is 101.4% of the planned targets. (Ukrinform/Ukrainian metal)
