Evraz NTMK has produced over 7 thousand tons of rolled metal for the construction of a new MMK sintering factory.
Flanged beams and steel rounds accounted for the main part of the metal supplied.
The metal is used for the construction of main structures in the sinter shop, the sintering machines No. 1 and 2 buildings, etc.
Last year Evraz NTMK was the first in Russia to start producing construction beams of C390 and C440 strength class.
The company also mastered the manufacture of 15 new flanged beams sections: 4 according to ASTM and 11 according to the local GOST.
MMK investments in the sintering factory No. 5 construction total 22 billion rubles. It is expected to be commissioned in late 2019. (Ukrainian metal)
