In January-February Armenia decreased metal output by 10.8% YoY.

According to the National Statistics Service, ferromolybdenum output dropped by 38.6%, to 713 tons, with 368 tons produced in February, up by 6.7% MoM.

Molybdenum concentrate manufacture decreased by 0.7%, to 1791 tons (834 tons in February, down by 12.9% MoM).

Converter copper output grew by 17.1%, to 2245 tons (952 tons, -26.4%).

Copper concentrate production decreased by 15.2%, to 53.9 thousand tons (25.7 thousand tons, -8.9%).

Zinc concentrate output increased by 28.7%, to 1605 tons (832 tons, +7.6-fold).

Aluminum foil manufacture grew by 17.7%, to 5655 tons (2504 tons, -20.5%).

Steel pipes production went up by 42.4%, to 1636 tons (all produced in February).

All the metal, manufactured in Armenia, is exported, mostly to the EU and USA.
