Mine constructors of Gaysky GOK have started another stage of the shaft reconstruction at the Ekspluatatsionnaya mine – reinforcing.
In a way, this is a construction of a vertical railroad for the skips and cages.
The reinforcing is carried out at the depth of 910-1420 meters.
At present the mining is carried out at the depth of 990 and 1075 meters, while the mine constructors are building new horizons of 1150, 1230, 1310 and 1390 meters.
Last year the mine yielded 7 million tons of ore, with 4.5 million tons taken from the Ekspluatatsionnaya shaft.
The construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Builders will have to assemble some 600 tons of metal structures. Investments in the project will total 155 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
