As of March 1, Magadan region obtained 2516 kg of gold, up by 18% YoY.
At present only ore gold is mined. Alluvial season will start in May.
Silver output so far has totaled 101.2 tons, down by 13.7% YoY. The decrease, seen since last year, has to do with the scheduled drop in output at a Polymetal enterprise.
This year the region intends to yield 37.1 tons of ore and alluvial gold, up by 12.6% YoY. Silver manufacture is expected to drop by 14.7%, to 665 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
