In 2017 the state enterprise United Mining and Chemical Company concluded two thirds of its contracts on titanium ore deliveries with Bollwerk (Austria).
The total cost of these contracts is $53 million, or 1.5 billion UAH.
Last year the UMCC management was detained for economic crimes. After that Bollwerk was replaced by TS Taunus Chemical GmbH (Germany), but in May 2017 the Austrian company returned. (Ukrainian metal)
